SITE is an international trade body representing professionals and business in the incentive industry. It is made up of 2,500 members from 90 countries with a head office in Chicago. In 2017, SITE approached Association Innovation to conduct an organizational review. SITE subsequently retained us to help implement the recommendations that were contained in the initial organisational review.
Project Objectives:
Conduct an organisational review of the Society’s management model and provide recommendations that reflect the needs of members and the Board.
Provide recommendations for optimal team structure, identification of key roles and attributes and recommendations on the operating model
Review financial performance with recommendations on how to improve profitability and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Work with the Board to develop a transition project plan to include: activity groups, milestones, deadlines, issues, risks and interdependencies.
Manage a fair and competitive tender process to outsource the SITE event and marketing and communication services.
Success/Impact:
The Society radically changed its operating model, leadership and budget.
A new CEO was recruited alongside a new marketing and events team.
The Board and Members of the Society were delighted with the new vision for the Society and felt confident that the Society had the right leadership and operational team in place to ensure a positive future for the Society.
